Chuck has nearly a decade of experience in the Property and Casualty markets beginning as a summer intern with an industry leader where he was introduced to commercial insurance/risk management prior to starting his own firm, Poteet & Poteet, LLC in 2010.
Chuck’s education clearly illustrates his desire for seeking knowledge by learning through structured curriculum and gaining experience by seeking challenging risk management opportunities. He studied at both Southern Polytechnic State University, and Georgia Institute of Technology focusing on finance – but surrounding himself with industry professionals of which he now serves (Construction, Manufacturing, Hospitality, and Transportation).
After starting his career in insurance Chuck pursued several schools of which he was ranked top in his class. State Auto & National Alliances PaceSetter School for producers, Liberty Mutual Surety School, and The Wedge Program taught by Randy Schwantz to name a few.
Chuck’s athletic abilities and competitive nature allowed him to earn a full scholarship, becoming a Baseball All American.
In his first full year as the CEO/President at Poteet & Poteet, LLC Chuck was able to grow revenues from $0 to over $500,000. He built his book of business in Construction, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Transportation industries.
Chuck has completed work and is designated as an IRMI construction Risk and Insurance Specialist, NRWCS School for Registered Workers compensation Specialist and in the process of completing his Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
He remains active in several insurance industry associations, Contractor associations and serves on the board of a local non-profit organization.
Rex brings to the table over four decades of Personnel Management and Business Administration Experience. After attending High School at Christian County High School, Hopkinsville Kentucky in 1972, Rex enlisted in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division. He was deployed to Europe and served on two separate occasions in Greece and Germany as a Personnel Manager at Battalion and Brigade Levels. His last assignment in the military after 12 years of Active Duty was as a Division Level Personnel Manager at Ft. Stewart, Georgia.
After leaving Active Duty, Rex applied for and was selected as the Personnel Administrator for the State Headquarters, Georgia Army National Guard in Atlanta Georgia. Two years later, having deciding to End his Military Career, Rex joined the Automotive Industry. He worked as a Salesman for seven years, before being promoted to management, and holding practically every position in the industry as Finance/Leasing Manager, Sales Manager, Underwriting and Collections Manager. Rex utilized his skills achieved over a lifetime of managing people and their information and Assets.
Rex joined the team at Advanced Benefit Solutions, LLC. in February 2015 and is responsible for the Management of Personnel/Payroll Processing and HR Compliance.
Amy brings to Advanced Benefit Solutions more than twenty-four years of experience with Corporate Business Standards and Practices; along with six additional years in direct Customer Service.
Amy began her career at the early age of sixteen and through hard work and dedication has successfully earned many desirable opportunities such as the Olympics 1996, several E911 deployments, and the University of Georgia Media.
Her thirty years of business experience evolves around Public Relations, Safety and OSHA Compliance, Project Management; as well as, managing Payroll for Union Contractual Employees and Arbitration guidelines that enhance her ability in maintaining our HR Compliance and Payroll accuracy.
Amy is a well-balanced wife and mother of seven children and four grandchildren. Her desire to make a difference illuminates with each assignment. She dedicates her spare time to St. Mary’s Hospital as a volunteer, participates in Breast Cancer Walks, involves herself in school activities, sneaks in a movie when time allows, and enjoys traveling with her family and friends.
